I started Photography & Movies 17 years ago editing videos for friends and friends of friends. Home Video editing quickly migrated into Corporate Editing. I soon began filming and shooting photographs as well. As a bit of a Type A kind of gal, I became interested in archiving old and new photographs, videos, and movies. If only to organize my own collection. The archiving business exponentially grew during COVID.
I have been interested in photography since I was gifted my first camera at a very young age. My father is a photography enthusiast and my grandmother, an accomplished portrait photographer. I am that obnoxious friend who is constantly taking pictures and videos. Thankfully my friends embrace(d) my obsession. I am honored by how many friends have my work on their walls. I owe so much to them for not only spreading the word but also encouraging me. I have been selling my work for years by word of mouth and social media. Last year I decided to get a bit more organized about selling, eventually adding The Boathouse Gallery to my Photography and Movies website.
I am dedicated to my work and my vision. I can "play" photography for hours. In an effort to find my center during the pandemic, I began working from my photographs in Pen& Ink and Watercolors.
My vision continues to grow.
